The client has been performing manual tasks with PDFs. A big part of that was data extraction and data entry. While it took about 3 minutes to complete one PDF, their company mainly works with big landowners and has many documents to cover every Friday. To manage and deal with all their simultaneous projects, they had to do all this manually, and did not know of the option to automate this whole data extraction task.
So to help them cover and meet the requirements of their partners and their own goals, I created a program that would extract user-specified data from the PDFs and create new files containing only the requested information, while renaming them.
The response was immediate and energizing, for the client's satisfaction was high, and they were ready to do similar automations for their other tasks too.
